| with my ex and some relatives. We stop in a small restaurant before splitting up and heading home. I've got my dog with me. It's sunny so I roll the windows down in the TT and put the sunshade up. (Yes, I am flirting with auto theft disaster. Not sure why the hell I did it now that I think about it.) While we're in the restaurant my ex frequently goes out to check on the dog. After settling the tab, I go out to give the dog a walk before hitting the road. The doors are locked. I reach in to unlock the PS door and the alarm goes off. I have never set off my Z32's alarm and am at a loss on how to stop it. I try what works on my Chev Silverado; putting the key in the ignition and turning it, to no avail. After the alarm has been going off for about 5 minutes and feeling like a dork for the duration, it occurs to me to stick the key in the door lock and turn it. Problem solved. Short of dismantling the system, is this the only way to stop the car alarm on the Z32? If not, what are the other ways? I'd like to know since this may happen again. TIA
